PROUST to get to know your social circle

A questionnaire that began as a Victorian parlour game is now conversation starter for today's socialites.

Did you ever tell your friends:

Your favourite virtue

Your favourite qualities in a man

Your favourite qualities in a woman

Your biggest flaw

Your favourite occuation

Your chief characteristic

Your idea of happiness

Your idea of misery

Your favourite colour and flower

If not yourself, who would you be

Where would you like to live

Your favourite prose authors

Your favourite poets

Your favourite paintes and composers

Your favourite heroes in real life

Your favourite heroines in real life

Your favourite heroes in fiction

Your favourite heroines in fiction

Your favourite food and drink

Your favourite names

Your pet aversion

What chracters in history do you most dislike

What is your present state of mind

For wht fould have you most toleration

Your favorite motto

How would you like to die

...do we really know each other? This childishness and charm of the questionnaire is said to open the door to honesty and sarcasm???

THE APPRAISAL

It is not a big deal. It just reflects a sublte relief, a relief attached to the successful accomplishment of any kind of personal development in the corporate jungle. I am offically approved: the corporation likes me, i do like the corporation! Now its all about building a mutual interest loyalty program and loyalty is hardly selfish, is it? Well, i want to do my MBA, do you help me LH?

Rufus against Monkeys

In one weekend exposed to on the one hand operatic vocals, symphonic arrangements, iconoclastic religiosity and Latin from Rufus Wainwright, who's fanciful songs about love and faith place him in the rarefied company of Bjork and on the other hand to swedish hard rockers Midnight Monkeys hiting hard with a twin-guitar attack, a crazed singer and a drummachine leave my hunger for culture satisfied for one moment. Off stage we are all human, most of the time

MAKE POVERTY HISTORY

Every single day, 30,000 children are dying as a result
of extreme poverty.

Today, the gap between the world’s rich and poor is wider than ever. Global injustices such as poverty, AIDS, malnutrition, conflict and illiteracy remain rife.

The limits of bloggers freedom

It catched my eye: recent news: blogging which had  its trend status for a while, becoming ordinary a little later on, apparently now starts backfireing on the authors and the strongly proclaimed "freedom of word" CNN reports with a nice example how side tracking this hobby can become - until you are fired.

I WALKED THE RED CARPET (finally to tick it off my to do list

Yes, I was there. Didn't you see all the pictures in the papers with the headlines asking: Who is this mysterious smashing young lady? The new media star from Germany?"

Well, it is a rush of adrenalin, it gave me the shivers and i felt the scent of fame for a second.

The movie i dont recomend , walking the red carpet once in your life time i do!
